- MICC Center Request award of a firm fixed-price contract, utilizing FY10 OMA funds, to The Community Club, Fort Indian Town Gap, Building T-9-65, Annville, PA 17003, to provide meals to Soldiers attending the US Army 1st Recruiting Brigade Mobile Station Commander Course held at Fort Indian Town Gap, PA, during the period 15-27 Mar 10. Individuals will not have the transportation means to go anywhere else for these meals while at this training course. All individuals are in a TDY status. By having the meals served at one location and on the installation, the Brigade is saving a significant amount of money for per diem. The per diem rate for the area is $46 for meals. By having the meals at the Community Club, the Brigade is saving over $25.50 per person/per day for a total cost savings of $15,912. The logistics involved in having the meals provided at a different location will be labor intensive and will reduce the cost savings being realized by contracting on the installation.
