- The Defense Commissary Agency intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for acquisition of potted plants for resale at the following Commissaries: Eglin AFB, Hurlburt, Tyndall, Pensacola NAS, FL; Fort Benning, GA; Maxwell, Gunter, Redstone Arsenal, AL; Gulfport, Keesler, MS. This is a pre-solicitation notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with the guidance of FAR 13.5 - Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The Government anticipates soliciting for the award of a Firm-Fixed Price Blanket Purchase Agreement ( BPA). This acquisition is for 100% Small Business set aside and is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 453110 (Florist). Offerors may submit one proposal for CLIN's 0001-CLIN's 0004, or a proposal for one or more of CLIN's 0001-CLIN's 0004. The contractor shall deliver, stock, replenish, and maintain plants and designated area. Performance will be for the period of May 1, 2010 to April 30, 2011. Request for a copy of this solicitation must be submitted in writing to Defense Commissary Agency, Attention: Mr. Patrick B. DeWyngaert, 1300 E Avenue, Fort Lee, VA, 23801-1800. Requests for a copy of the solicitation must include the solicitation number: HDEC02-10-R-0001, a complete name, address of the firm, business size status, point of contact, phone and facsimile numbers of the requester or their designated representative.
