- Example of Statement of work to be complied with. SOURCES SOUGHT: The 9th Contracting Squadron, Beale Air Force Base, California is seeking information about repairing, painting, and Body Shop work as a Concessionaire through the Arts and Crafts Center. Interested parties who believe they can meet or exceed all of the requirements described in this notice are requested to submit, in writing, appropriate documentation, literature, brochures, and other pertinent information to demonstrate that the stated requirements can be fulfilled. Responses must include the following: Name and address; size of business; Cage Code; and whether they are a large, small, small-disadvantaged, 8(a), HUB-zone, disabled veteran- or woman-owned business. The applicable NAICS code is 811121. The size standard, as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration, is $7.0M. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. No solicitation currently exists; therefore, please do not request a copy of a solicitation. A formal solicitation is expected to be released on or about 15 March 2010, and will be made available on FedBizOpps. It is the responsibility of each interested party to monitor this site for the release of the solicitation or synopsis. Respondents deemed fully qualified will be considered in any resultant solicitation for the requirement. The Government reserves the right to consider a small business or 8(a) set-aside based upon responses hereto. Questions should be emailed to Douglas Strong at douglas.strong@beale.af.mil. All responses shall be received not later than 12:00pm (PST) Friday, 12 March 2010. The Concessionaire will perform Paint and Auto Body Repairs on Government and Non-government vehicles along with other equipment on Beale AFB through the Arts and Crafts Center. The Concessionaire will operate an Auto Paint and Body shop located in Bldgs #2488 and 2489, which will be given to for use along with all electricity, water and all utilities. All work shall be accomplished in a timely and professional manner. The Concessionaire will pay the Arts and Crafts Center (NAFI) a negotiated percentage of gross monthly sales. Will give Government vehicle priority over non-government vehicles at all times. Will supply all equipment and materials needed to repair and paint vehicles and equipment, and will be responsible for the cost of all approved replacement parts until they are installed on the owned vehicles. The prospective Concessionaire will need to submit a labor rate for both Body Work, and Painting, and the Percentage of Gross Sales to be turned over to the Government. The previous years gross sales were about $85,000, but this in no way is a guarantee of future sales. We make no guarantee of any amount. The prospective Concessionaire shall at their expense obtain all permits and licenses applicable to the business (Including Credit card machine). You must have liability insurance commensurate with the risks involved and furnish proof. You will be responsible for paying all operating expenses not expressly undertaken by NAFI.
