Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award an Order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-09-G-0005 on a sole source basis with Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMMS2). This effort is to provide Non-recurring engineering efforts to include technical expertise, documentation, and data necessary to ensure proper integration and installation of the Joint and Allied Threat Awareness System (JATAS) into the U.S. Navy’s MH-60 Romeo and Sierra aircraft. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis to Lockheed Martin Corporation (LMMS2), in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. LMMS2 alone has the proprietary technical data, experience, equipment and special skills to furnish the supplies and services within the required timeframe.
