Description
The Regional Contracting Office, Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH) is soliciting sources to acquire the following chemicals: 0001 Chlorine Stabilizer (Conditioner) 45 lb container, 10 CO; 0002 Muratic Acid, 4 one gallon jugs per case, 600 CS; 0003 Calcium, 4 BG; 0004 Sodium Bicarbonate, 50 lb bags, 350 BG. This synopsis is prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The requirement will be for a seven month base period with two one year options. The base period will begin on 3 March 2010. The provisions and clauses in the Request for Quotations are those in effect through FAC 2005-38. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is M00318-10-T-0022. The anticipated contract will be a Firm Fixed Price Contract. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) and the small business size standard for this procurement is 325998 and 500 respectively. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database to be eligible for a Department of Defense contract award. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The Government will award a single contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose quote conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate the quotations: 1) Technical, 2) Past Performance, 3) Price. The Government will evaluate quotes for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirement. The RFQ will be available on or around 19 February 2010.
