Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is PFPA4110149BASIC; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-26, Defense DCN 20080812, and AFAC 2008-0605. This acquisition will be 100% total small business set-aside; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 337215. The business size standard is 500 employees. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 7125. The evaluation factors are lowest price, technically acceptable. This is a brand name or equal acquisition. SCOPE OF WORK: This request for quotation consists of the following: Provide 53 custom made lockers (19 with benches and 34 without benches) to fit in the existing locker room area belonging to the Pentagon Police to include the following: Item 0001: Locker Number Plates shall be numbered N1-N53 each; Quantity 53 Item 0002: 6Z Base- Standard 12 GA; Product Note: LZ-Base, Color 5007, Z Base 1-6 foot length, Color Finish- no custom finish (standard); Quantity 19 Item 0003: Z Base Row Ends-14GA, Color 5007, Z Base Row End 4 inch high, Z Base row end 24 inch deep, Z Base single row end, package quantity-8 pack, Color finish –no custom finish (standard); Quantity 2 Item 0004: End finish panels-single row-flat top-16GA, Color 5007, End finish panel locker depth -24 inches, end finish panel locker height- 72 inches, package quantity -4 pack; Quantity 4 Item 0007: Wood locker bench top 66”; Quantity 9 Item 0008: Coat rods to fit – 33 1/4” wide; Quantity 53 Item 0009: Measure 33”x 24”x 72” DBL D-RH-NL-C-18G BTM, except to include hanging hooks on the inside of the door at least two (2) on each side top and midway; Quantity 34 Item 0010: Measure 33”X24”X72” DBLE RH-16” LG-C-18G BM, to include hanging hooks on the inside of door at least two (2) on each side top and midway; Quantity 19 The custom lockers must fit into existing locker room area and match existing lockers. The contractor shall provide all required materials, labor, equipment, and tools necessary for installation. Installation may include adjustment to the location of existing lockers to allow sufficient room for new lockers and to allow sufficient path for foot traffic. Each new locker shall be anchored for stability. Lockers shall be installed at the Pentagon Library Conference Center, Pentagon Police Locker Room, located at 9000 Defense Pentagon, Washington, DC 20301. 1.The lockers shall be warranted for a duration of one (1) year minimum. 2.Installers will be required to pass security clearance. Installer name, social security number, place of birth, date of birth, and U.S. citizenship must be provided two weeks prior to scheduled installation. 3.Vehicle information must also be provided two weeks prior to delivery and installation. 4.Contractors shall provide estimated completion date with the submission of their quote. 5.Offerors shall include preliminary shop drawings of lockers with the submission of their quote, if other than brand name, as specified in this solicitation, is being quoted. 6.Color samples and shop drawings shall be approved prior to notice to proceed.
