Description
RECOVERY -- This procurement is being funded via the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). The work consists of reconstructing an existing footbridge. The specifications provide offerors with two acceptable approaches or choices in performing the work. Option A is to refurbish and reinstall an existing 44 foot section of the existing bridge as well as installing a 91 foot section of new structure. Option B is to install a 135 foot new structure without making use of the existing metal structure. Both options include raising the structure above the established flood plain. Project price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. NAICS: 237310. Project site is located in Camas County, Shosone Field Office, Idaho. Estimated start work is July 1, 2010 and performance time is 90 calendar days. Bonds are required - Bid Bond: 20%; Performance Bond: 100%; and Payment Bond: 100%. This solicitation will be posted electronically at www.fedconnect.net. Paper copies are no longer available. Estimated issue date is March 5, 2010. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. Full or partial funding for requirements to be completed by resultant contract award(s) may utilize funds provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Inclusion of unique provisions required to implement the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements by the successful offeror(s), will be required in any resultant contract. The Awardee will be subject to Section 1512(c) of the Recovery Act which requires each contractor to report on its use of Recovery Act funds under the awarded contract.
