- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation FA4877-10-Q-0322 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-38 effective 1 Feb 2010. (iv) This procurement is being UNRESTRICTED under NAICS code 423910 and small business size standard 100. (v) CLIN 0001 - 4 EA MEC-670, BigToys Inc. Bungalows, primary colors OR EQUAL CLIN 0002 - 4 EA 25' x 25' Sunshade Attached to the Bungalow. Shade unit must feature at least 25' x 25' breathable, UV resistant shade fabric that provides 90% or more UV protection. The unit must be attached to either the bungalow or rainier equivalent as to not violate the safety zone. CLIN 0003 - 4 EA MBT-900, BitToys Inc. Rainiers, BAJA Color OR EQUAL CLIN 0004 - 2 EA 8' x 24' Aluminum Soccer Goals to include nets, net hooks, and ground stakes (vi) Or Equal items to be offered in place of CLINs 0001 and 0003 must meet the following criteria: 1. All components must be fastened to the uprights using bolts and threaded inserts. These inserts must be installed into factory drilled holes in the tubing of the play structure. No clamp connecting systems will be considered. 2. Parts must be coated using a method resistant to highly humid, salt water environments. Components must be rust-proof with a warranty of atleast 25 years. No PVC coatings on any surfaces will be considered. 3. Must meet safety requirements outlined in ASTM F1487-07ae1. Standard Consumer Safety Performance Specification for Playground Equipments for Public Use, dated 15 March 2007. Shipping Requirements: Equipment must be palletized, per equipment unit, on pallets no wider than 4' and no longer than 20' for shipping into SEAVAN to Panama. Shipping will be FOB Destination to F3GHBA - 820th Red Horse Squadron, 5175 Malmstrom Ave., Nellis AFB, NV 89191 BY 5 APRIL. Quotes will be evaluated on price and technical acceptance, based on the salient characteristics listed above.
