Description
Notice of Industry DayFor Holmium and Green Light Laser System a). An Industry Day Conference for this procurement will be conducted on Wednesday, March 3, 2010, from 1230 PM to 3:30 PM CST. b). The conference will be held in the Surgical Admin Conference Room 2B163 at the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System, 1901 S. 1St St., Temple, Texas 76504. (Directions are in separate attachment) Note: There are no procedures to gain access to the hospital. Check with the welcome desk if you get lost. c). The conference will include general briefing followed by one-on-one sessions where contractors may ask questions on an individual basis. Please note that capabilities briefings are not desired. Please communicate any questions or information that you would like to see in the general briefing to Katrina.jack-tribble@va.gov by 4:00 PM February 26, 2010. Please use the subject title Industry Day. Note: Each one-on-one session will last exactly 15 minutes. d). Scheduling for one-on-one sessions is on a first come first serve basis, however we will try to accommodate specific requests to meet travel schedules. e). Please respond by email to Katrina.jack-tribble@va.gov if you would like to attend Industry day by 4:00 PM February 26, 2010. A maximum of 2 participants from each company can attend. Please use subject title Industry Day. Ground Rules for Industry Day and One-on-One Sessions a). This is an open forum seeking industry input on requirements and processes. Ideas and information presented may be recorded and publicized (FedBizOpps) or other record for this event. b). The public forum portion of Industry Day is not appropriate proprietary disclosures. c). No agreements, promises or other commitments are made or implied by the Government or Contractors participating in Industry Day and the One-on-One sessions. d). One-on-One sessions will be limited to Fifteen minutes, and will be timed to keep on schedule. Government will require breaks between sessions. e). Contractor recommendations may or may not be incorporated into Government documents. Reminder: To ensure everyone has access to the same information, non-proprietary questions and answers will be recorded and placed on the web (FedBizOpps). Industry Day Central Texas Veterans Health Care System 1901 S. 1st Street, Temple, Texas 76504 Surgical Admin Conference Room 2B163 3 March 2010 General Information: The best airport to fly into to reach Temple, Texas is the Killeen/Fort Hood Airport. There are only two airlines that fly into the airport, American Airlines and Continental Airlines. Once you reach the airport, its typically a 30-minute drive to the hospital. Another option will be to fly into Austin. The drive is about an hour and all the major airlines fly into the airport. Directions to the Hospital: From Killen Airport Make a right to exit the airport it will you to Clear Creek Rd. At the fourth stop light make a right and you will be on 190 East. Follow 190 East to I-35N and then exit 299. You will be on loop 363. This will lead you to the hospital. Once you pass Lowes and the gas station you will come to a sign directing you to the hospital. Make a left and at the 2nd stop light make a right. The entrance to the hospital will be straight ahead. You will be looking for the Teague Tower. From Austin Airport Follow 183N to I-35. Exit 299 toward US-190E/363 loop. Once you pass Lowes and the gas station you will come to a sign directing you to the hospital. Make a left and at the 2nd stop light make a right. The entrance to the hospital will be straight ahead. You will be looking for the Teague Tower.
