Description
This Task Order is for Project 972013, Recovery Repair Base Supply, Bldgs. 31, 376, and 1007 at Naval Air Station (NAS) Joint Reserve Base (JRB) New Orleans, LA. Existing areas affected are; 1. First Floor - Within an approximate existing 18,775sf area consisting of mostly open concrete floor space, renovate/construct approximately 9,600sf with new offices/admin space including elevator, restrooms, locker rooms, classroom, break room and other spaces required by the LANG in accordance with the Building Requirements set forth in the RFP. 2. Second Floor - Within an approximate 18,000sf existing area that mainly consists of existing mezzanine and open space below, renovate/construct approximately 5,400sf with new conference room, offices, restrooms, training facilities, climate controlled storage and other spaces required by the LANG in accordance with the Building Requirements set forth in the RFP. This includes demolition of existing storage racks and upstairs office areas and potential renovation of existing mezzanine decking. The estimated value is between $3,500,000 and $4,500,000. The design and construction schedule is 380 calendar days, which includes the initial fifteen days to allow for mailing of the contract award, submission and approval of required bonding and insurance, etc. If an earlier completion time is proposed, that schedule will be used to calculate contract completion and will be rated more favorably in the evaluation of the proposal. The Government reserves the right to reject any or all proposals at any time prior to award; to negotiate with any or all offerors; and to use a tradeoff process when it may be in the best interest of the Government to consider award to other than the lowest priced Offeror or other than the highest technically rated Offeror; and award to the offeror submitting the proposal determined by the Government to be the most advantageous (best value) to the Government. OFFERORS WILL BE ADVISED AN AWARD MAY BE MADE WITHOUT DISCUSSION OR ANY CONTACT CONCERNING THE PROPOSALS RECEIVED. Proposals will be requested initially on the most favorable price and technical terms. Offerors should not assume that they would be contacted or afforded an opportunity to qualify, discuss, or revise their proposals. However, the Government reserves the right to clarify certain aspects of proposals or conduct discussions providing an opportunity for the offeror to revise its proposal.
