Description
J&A F6W3CF9300AC01 This is a notification that the 144 Fighter Wing, Fresno Air National Guard Base, California, Contracting Office, intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed price contract under statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements to Sprint Communications Company L.P. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 517110 This special construction is to install and upgrade infrastructure to support DS3 circuit to building 100 at 144FW ANGB Fresno, CA. We propose a FFP and to fulfill the following requirement. AT&T is the incumbent Local Exchange Carrier (LEC) that provides service to the Fresno local area and Sprint will rely on them to ultimately connect the Fresno Guard location to Sprint's MPLS backbone via AT&T's access facilities. Sprint currently has Multiprotocol Label Switch (MPLS) connection to be installed at the Fresno, CA ARNG facility located at 5323 E. MCKINLEY AVE per the provisions of its FTS2001 contractual agreement with the National Guard. The Government requires the following: To upgrade existing copper communications infrastructure to fiber infrastructure from the Local Exchange Carrier (LEC) to the Fresno ANG Base DEMARK, located in BLD 100, to support 12 MB circuit installation. The vendor is responsibility to conduct a site survey in order to assure the provided duct path is sufficient to install required infrastructure. All required conduit duct installation and coordination is the responsibility of the service provider. The estimated total value of the special construction is $122,000.00. This notice is not a request for quotations. The contractor identified is the only known source for the subject requirement. Responses to this notification will be used to determine if bona fide competition exists. Any such responses must be in writing and include technical and pricing information. The Government will not pay for information submitted. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement action, based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
