“INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY” "INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY" This notice is provided for information purposes only. This opportunity is available only to contractors under GSA Schedule 70 Information Technology Equipment Software and Services Special Identification Numbers (SIN) 132-32, 132-34 and 132-51. GSA Task Order: 4QAG75109420 This notice is to advise all prospective IT Schedule Holders, for SIN 132-32 and 132-51, that GSA has received a request for a Time and Material task order for the Enhanced San Antonio Immunization Registry System (eSAIRS) project in San Antonio, TX. The objective of this effort is through the use of Commercial Off the Shelf items, to establish and maintain an immunization registry that will store complete immunization records that are accurate and up-to-date - with all information pertaining to each individual consolidated into one non-duplicative history. The enhanced San Antonio Immunization Registry System will be known as eSAIRS. This repository must provide real time web access to this data. After successful completion of eSAIRS installation, data migration and customization along with an operating environment that is secure, the contractor shall supply a reliable and effectively trained staff to support maintenance and Web hosting requirements for a period of one year after acceptance of registry installation. The San Antonio Metropolitan Health District Immunization Program, hereafter referred to as the SAMHD, seeks to replace its current Immunization Information System (IIS). SAMHD seeks to implement, maintain and operate an IIS solution that shall provide the capabilities and functionality outlined by the Centers' for Disease Control (CDC) in: Meets or exceeds the Immunization Registry Minimum Functional Standards approved by the National Immunization Program (NIP) on May 15, 2001. Provides the tools and processes necessary to meet the Immunization Registry Certification as recommended by the National Immunization Program's Technical Working Group (TWG), dated June 4, 2002. Adheres to the Implementation Guide for Immunization Data Transactions using Version 2.3.1 or the Health Level Seven (HL7) Standard Protocol, Version 2.2, dated June 2006. Meets or exceeds the Public Health Information Network (PHIN) requirements version 2.0 dated June 22, 2007 governing the exchange of data, public health directories and the availability and security of electronic information systems. Provides certification using the PHIN Certification Criteria and Process Version 1.0 dated August 21, 2008. The services in this Task Order do not require the contractor to perform inherently governmental functions. Period of Performance: One 12 month base period with 1 (12) month option period All interested schedule holders must send an email request to GSA, Contract Specialist Sherri Wyatt, sherri.wyatt@gsa.gov prior to this E-Buy notification closing on 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, February 4, 2010. Failure to do so will exclude you from the bidders list. The anticipated RFQ release date is mid February 2010. All interested schedule holders must identify the registered person in ITSS who is to receive the RFQ. All offerors shall be registered within the Center Contractor Registration (CCR), http://www.ccr.gov, and the offeror's CCR information must exactly match their firm's information in ITSS. Failure to register in CCR or a failure to match CCR and ITSS information at the time of award shall result in exclusion from consideration.
