Description
Map to SAIC Visit Request Instructions The Global Positioning System (GPS) Wing (GPSW) Military GPS User Equipment (MGUE) program at the Los Angeles Air Force Base (LAAFB) Space and Missile System Center (SMC) intends to host a special SIPWG starting at 8:00 AM on 4 March 2010. The System Integration with Primes Working Group (SIPWG) is the Wing's primary System Integration (SI) working-level forum to: • Address priority cross-segment SI issues requiring inputs from prime development contractors • Ensure prime development contractors have the info required from Wing to be successful • Interface with GPSW external stakeholders to address key SI issues as required • Bring focus and drive towards GPS Capability; Initial Operational Capability/Full Operational Capability milestones This special SIPWG session will be dedicated to the discussion of potential and required technical trade-offs to define the Common GPS Module vs. the MGUE technical requirements as well as the interface between them in order to meet capabilities identified in the MGUE Capability Development Document (CDD). As such, the GPS Wing is seeking industry participation in the refinement of the MGUE Common GPS Module Technical Requirements Document. The white papers that will be discussed at the SIPWG are working drafts which can be found on the MGUE BIDDERS LIBRARY.
