Description
The U.S. Maritime Administration, Division of Atlantic Operations Contracts Office, has a requirement for the installation of steering system onboard the T.S. The Government has procured the major components necessary to replace the existing 43-yr old Sperry steering stands with new Raytheon Compilot 20 stand to include autopilot, dual gyrocompass, course recorder, course repeaters and rudder angle indicators. All new equipment shall be made to interface, as applicable, with an existing equipment not being replaced (i.e., ecdis, radars, etc..). The final installation shall have a clean, finished, professional installed appearance. The RFQ and any related documents for this procurement will be available for downloading on the Federal Business Opportunities website on/about February 16, 2010. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs)!
