Description

The Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for REPLACEMENT OF THE ANCHOR SYSTEM ABOARD THE RESEARCH VESSEL KIYI, GREAT LAKES SCIENCE CENTER, ANN ARBOR, MI (DM0007). The vessel's home port is in Ashland, WI and work is to be completed while the vessel is moored in Ashland, WI. The Government anticipates award of a non-commercial, Firm Fixed Price contract. The anticipated period of performance is 240 days after contract award. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available at www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 02/22/2010. The associated solicitation number is 10ERSS0047. The offeror is responsible for monitoring the Fedbizopps site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). A formal solicitation, statement of work, and technical exhibits are not available for release at this time. This requirement is being issued as full and open competition. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336611. The associated small business size standard is 1000 employees. There is not an incumbent contractor. Full or partial funding for requirements to be completed by the resultant contract may utilize funds provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Inclusion of unique provisions required to implement the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements by the successful offeror, will be required in any resultant contract.
