- This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) is for the procurement of BIG-IP SWITCH and is being procured as a Brand Name or equal requirement. Quotes are being solicited and a written RFQ is attached to this synopsis. The RFQ number is M67854-10-Q-4089. The RFQ document incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-20. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 423430. All interested and responsible small business parties shall refer to the Marine Corps Systems Command website at www.neco.navy.mil http://www.neco.navy.mil in order to obtain a copy of the RFQ. The following provisions and clauses shall apply: (1) FAR 52.212-1 (Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items) (JAN 1999); (2) FAR 52.212-2 (Evaluation - Commercial Items) with the following insertion in para (a) "lowest priced technically acceptable quote with acceptable past performance." in the described CLINS of! the RFQ; (3) FAR 52.213-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items applies to this acquisition and there is not an addenda to this provision; (4) FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. All questions should be directed to Michelle Bailey at michelle.bailey@usmc.mil. All offers proposals will be submitted on the RFQ form (SF-1449) and the maintenance list attached to this synopsis. Vendor's proposals for this requirement are due no later than 10:00 AM EST February 19, 2010. It is the vendor's responsibility to monitor the NECO system for amendments issued in reference to this requirement. All Contractors who provide goods/services to the DOD must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR). Online Certifications and Representations is also required http://orca.bpn.gov http://orca.bpn.gov. Failure to comply with ORCA registration may deem offeror ineligible for award.
