Description

RECOVERY – This notice is for information purposes only as required by FAR subpart 5.7 “Publicizing Requirement under the American Recovery and Reinvestment of Act 2009”. It is the intent of the Forest Service to use an existing Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) under GSA Contract No. GS-07F-602N to procure Prefabricated Concrete Vault Toilet Buildings for the Flathead National Forest. This acquisition is being conducted under the authority of the Multiple Award Schedule Program (FAR 8.401 & FAR 8.405-3). The Forest Service will enter into negotiations with firms under the existing contracts to reach a best value determination for award. The Flathead National Forest intends to install 7 toilet buildings. The toilet buildings represent high priorities with regards to public safety and health, environmental issues, and accommodations for people with disabilities. Project locations are within the Flathead National Forest, Lake/Flathead/Missoula Counties, Montana. The recreation areas that will be upgraded include: Hungry Horse Ranger Station Warehouse, Trail Creek Trailhead, Graves Bay, Meadow Creek Trailhead (north), Meadow Creek Trailhead (south), Swan Lake Guard Station, Cold Lakes Trailhead
