Description
"The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only MAN DIESEL (formerly known as MAN B&W) authorized service firms trained and licensed to work on, and provide parts, for MAN Diesel Engines used on T-AH Class Hospital Ships as hospital diesel generators. Companies, firms, and/or authorized service centers may qualify as bidders for this work. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Solicitation N40443-10-T-0090 requires the services of an authorized original equipment manufacturer to refurbish one (1) Nr 1 Turbocharger Cartridge and two (2) cylinder heads for the USNS MERCY T-AH 19. Substitute materials will not be accepted. The repaired OEM cylinder heads must be fully warranted. Only written (E-Mail) requests will be accepted. E-Mail address is Dominick.fonte@navy.mil. The estimated issue date for this solicitation is 08 February 2010. Firm Fixed Price offers are due not later than 10:00 AM (PST) 10 February 2010. The government intends to make an award on, or about, 11 February 2010. This requirement will be procured under FAR Part 12.
