- The Architect of the Capitol (AOC) is seeking a contractor to provide a fiber optic connection from a cable television provider company. Where available, provide high definition as well as standard definition. Optic connection will include but not limit to the seven hub locations. The locations are: Russell Senate Office Building, Hart Senate Office Building, Adams Library of Congress, Cannon House Office Building, Rayburn House Office Building, Capitol Power Plant, and 400 North Capitol Street. The channels provided by the cable provider will only be provided to Congress and its staff only. Period of Performance include a base year with (4) 1-year options. The solicitation will be issued on or about January 15, 2010. The due date for receipt of proposals will be on February 15, 2010. The solicitation will be available electronically at http://www.aoc.gov/business/procure-opps.cfm on the date of issuance. INTERESTED PARTIES ARE ENCOURAGED TO DOWNLOAD THE ELECTRONIC VERSION AS THIS WILL EXPEDITE RECEIPT OF THE SOLICITATION.
