Description

RECOVERY - The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 5, has a requirement for the removal and replacement of Water Control Structure #14 at the Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) in Basking Ridge, Morris County, NJ. The contractor shall be required to furnish all necessary equipment, labor, materials and operations necessary to remove and replace the water control structure in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local regulations. Permitting is in process - start date is dependent on approval of permit provision issued from the State of New Jersey. We anticipate permit approval by May 31, 2010. The performance period is 120 calendar days. The expected magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. NAICS code is 237990 for this work. This is a set-aside for small business procurement. Interested firms shall present a minimum of five (5) similar projects undertaken in the last four (4) years. Award will be made to the qualified contractor who represents the "Best Value Continuum". Evaluation of interested firms will be based on: 1) Price 40%; 2) Past Performance 30%; 3) Technical ability 30%. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov and complete Online Representations and certification (ORCA) at www.bpn.gov to be eligible for award. Department of Labor - Davis Bacon Wage rates will apply to this project. The solicitation package will be available at fbo.gov on or about February 19, 2010.
