Description
The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District, is issuing this special notice to inform industry of the intent to solicit and negotiate solely (as prescribed in FAR 13.106-1 (b) (1), Soliciting from a Single Source) with Clearwater Potlatch Timber Protective Association, Inc., 10250 Highway 12, Orofino, Idaho 83544-8502. This requirement is for a two year Wildland Fire Protection Services contract, including pre-suppression, prevention, detection, and fire suppression activities on Corps of Engineers-owned lands surrounding Dworshak Dam and Reservoir in North Central Idaho. The requirement includes boat patrol, aerial patrol, helicopter operations, and legal right of ways to adjacent private property. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 1153109 and the size standard is $17.5 million. In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense, the contractor must provide registration information to the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). This notice of intent is not a formal solicitation or request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored.
