- NOTE: THE DUE DATE IS FOR PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. THE SOLICITATION WILL CONTAIN THE OFFICIAL DATE FOR BID SUBMITTAL. Procurement of the vault toilets are under a separate contract. The purpose of this service contract is to prepare the hole and backfill with approved material after the toilet has been placed in the hole by the toilet manufacture. Depending on specific site location, work may include removal and disposal of existing vault and toilet to a public landfill; removal and salvage of existing toilet components to designated location; or burying existing vaults left in the ground. Staking will be done by the Forest Service just prior to clearing, grubbing, and excavation. The Government estimate is $25,000 to $100,000.
