Description
Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to patch, sweep/ clean, seal cracks and apply aggregate emulsion chip seal to top of Thomaston Dam, Thomaston, CT from stone entrance wall gate in to yellow gate at turnaround, a total of approximately 6094 square yards. A final sweeping and stockpiling on site is included. Pavement preparation / patching may be required in minor select areas to include: a.Installation of Class II bituminous concrete in selected depressions as needed, mainly the spillway parking lot. b. Seal all cracks with rubberized elastomeric ASTM D6690 - 07 or better All areas to be treated are to be free of dust and debris. Prior to surface treating, the contractor will assure road surfaces are clean and acceptable for chip seal application.The estimated cost of this procurement is between $25,000 and $100,000. This solicitation will be available on or about 19 February 2010 and will be available for downloading by accessing the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fbo.gov) which links to the FedTeds website (see below). Prospective contractors are required to self register their firm on the Internet to receive this solicitation. Registration instructions are available on the internet at https://www.fedteds.gov. Amendments, if any, will be available at this Internet site. Neither telephonic, mailed nor faxed requests will be accepted. Registrants are responsible for the accuracy of the information on the registration list. This procurement is unrestricted. The applicable NAICS code is 237310 with a Small Business Size Standard of $33,500,000. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the New England District.
