Description
The National Cemetery Administration (NCA), Centralized Contracting Division, is soliciting proposals under Solicitation No. VA-786-10-RP-0099 for the following:The Contractor shall furnish, deliver, and install prefabricated concrete graveliners at the Marion National Cemetery, 1700 East 38th Street, Marion, IN 46953. Concrete Graveliners shall be fabricated in strict accordance with GSA Commercial Item Description A-A-30194: Type-I, Style-I, Liner, Grave, Concrete, Dated July 26, 1993. Contract period will consist of a base period from April 1, 2010 to September 30, 2010, with up to four (4) one-year options to extend the term of the contract through September 30, 2014, if exercised. The NAICS code is 327390. Size standard is 500 employees. The Government contemplates awarding a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and will only be considered from SDVOSB in accordance with Public Law 109-461. All offerors are required to complete registration at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov, must be registered at https://www.bpn.gov/ccr/, complete online Reps and Certs at https://orca.bpn.gov/, and register at https://vets100.vets.dol.gov/. It shall be the Contractors responsibility to keep pace with the grave liner requirements of the Marion National Cemetery in presenting grave liners, to remain in close proximity to excavation crews as directed and customarily required by Marion National Cemetery policy, and remain on station until grave liners are in place. Due to the ongoing requirement to install grave liners throughout the life of the contract, the contractor must maintain a presence in the local area. No telephone requests will be accepted. Responses to the solicitation are due by 3:00pm., Eastern Standard Time (EST), March 17, 2010. Offerors are encouraged to do a site visit prior to submitting proposal. Site visit information is set forth in the electronic solicitation. Any amendments to the solicitation will be available at the URL address. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments.
