Description
The 10th Contracting Squadron, United States Air Force Academy Colorado, is intending to issue a commercial contract to American College of Physician Executives, 400 N. Ashley Drive, Tampa, FL 33602. The government intends to acquire civilian healthcare presentations regarding the following topics: "Healthcare Marketing" and "Conflict Management". The purpose is to bridge the knowledge gap between military and civilian healthcare practices and to have the presentations count toward Certified Physician Executive (CPE) certification. The courses will be conducted at two different weekly intervals in 2010. Interval One: Conflict Management 28 Apr 2010 and Healthcare Marketing 30 Apr 2010. Interval Two: Conflict Management 18 Aug 2010 and Healthcare Marketing 20 Aug 2010. Presentations and associated time must be must be eligible for Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and the American Nurses Credentialing Committee (ANCC) approval for continuing medical education (CME) and continuing nursing education (CNE). Contractor must be able to present at least 18 hours of American Medical Association (AMA) physicians recognition award (PRA) Category Itm CME--overall total for both sessions and both courses. Speakers and presentation content must be certified by the Certifying Commission in Medical Management (CCMM) for credit towards board certification in medical management. The North America Industry Classification System Code [NAICS] is 611430 and the size standard is $7 million. This acquisition will be conducted as a sole source award.
