- This is a modification to the synopsis entitled Science Support EvaluationsAssessments Studies, Services, and Support Reference Number SS-SSOEASS-609 which wasposted on September 18, 2009. You are notified that NASA Langley Research Center plansto issue a draft Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Evaluation, Assessments, Studies,Services, and Support (EASSS) procurement on or about February 4, 2010. The draft RFPwill be issued under solicitation number NNL10315854J.The EASSS contract will beutilized by the NASA Science Office for Mission Assessments (SOMA) for evaluations,assessments and studies for the Science Mission Directorate (SMD) and other NASAorganizations.The SOMA is located at NASA LaRC and supports NASA SMD. A detaileddraft description of the required services was included in the original pre-solicitationnotice posted on September 18, 2010. This procurement is a follow-on procurement toNNL05AA01B. A pre-solicitation conference will be conducted on or about February 19, 2010 at NASALangley Research Center. The Draft RFP will contain detailed information on thepre-solicitation conference. The final RFP will be issued approximately on or aboutMarch 12, 2010 and proposals will be due on or about April 22, 2010. The Government does not intend to acquire commercial services using FAR Part 12. See Note26. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note "B". The solicitation and anydocuments related to this procurement will be available on the Internet. These documentswill reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browserapplication. The Internet site, or URL for the NASA Acquisition Internet Service ishttp://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=D&pin=23. It is the offerorsresponsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of the solicitation andamendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their owncopy of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Any referenced notes may be viewed atthe following URLs linked below.
