INTRODUCTION Battelle Energy Alliance LLC (BEA), Management & Operating Contractor of the Idaho National Laboratory (INL), is requesting an expression of interest from prospective companies which are qualified and capable to develop the performance capabilities and requirements for a remote (auxiliary) control room for reactor shutdown accident management. Only companies that meet all requirements herein should respond to this Expression of Interest. •II. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The scope of this project is to develop the performance capabilities and requirements, including proposed reactor indications and system control capabilities, for a remote (auxiliary) control room for reactor shutdown accident management. The technical and functional requirements document will provide the basis for potential follow-on work to design modifications to the existing remote reactor shutdown/accident management capabilities or potential design of an upgraded auxiliary control room for the ATR. •III. SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS Prospective candidates should provide a brief written response to address the following: Overview of the Subcontractor including name, phone number, and e-mail address of a representative of the firm who we can be contacted regarding this Request for Expression of Interest. This description must include the following: Summary of the Subcontractor's ASME NQA-1 2000 Quality Assurance Program. Brief description of two projects over the last five years of similar scope and complexity. The overall response should be brief and concise and approximately one page in length (at the most, it should not exceed two pages in length).
