- Description
- This is a pre-solicitation notice. The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract for the provision of Roman Catholic Priest services for the inmate population at the Federal Detention Center in Houston, Texas. The contractor must be an ordained catholic priest and shall be required to provide these services in accordance with the statement of work. These services will be conducted at the Federal Detention Center at 1200 Texas Avenue, Houston, Texas 77002. Participation by small, small-disadvantaged, HUBZone small businesses, woman-owned small businesses, veteran owned small businesses, and service disabled veteran owned small businesses is encouraged. Faith-based and Community-based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The BOP will consider all quotes submitted by qualified bidders. All qualified, responsible quotes will be considered on price related factors only. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website, www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The web site includes downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this web site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the web site to ensure they have most up-to-date information concerning this acquisition. The solicitation, which includes instructions for submitting a quote, will be available on or about February 3, 2010. Requests for proposals will be due on February 19, 2010 at 3 p.m., CST.
