Answer: The disconnection of power in Las Vegas will be the responsibility of Stetson Electric (electrical subcontractor)/Nevada Power. There is a disconnect switch at the meter box. However, this is not just a matter of turning off the power. The performance of the analyzers and instrumentation needs to be evaluated prior to disassembly so that shut-down of the analyzers and instrumentation take place according to manufacturers instructions to minimize possible damage to the analyzers and instrumentation. Moreover, this solicitation includes an equipment maintenance clause therefore the performance of the analyzers and instrumentation should be evaluated prior to disassembly such that analyzer and instrument maintenance can be performed according to manufacturers instructions. Question: What is the total weight of each shelter with all existing equipment or as originally supplied? Answer: Approximately 7,500 pounds / shelter including instrumentation, HVAC, etc. Question: Can you provide exact dimension of the outside of each shelter, height, width & length including external equipment that cannot be removed or does not need to be removed (HVAC etc) Answer: Each shipping container is 20' L x 8' H x 8' W. The HVAC units are the end of each shelter and protrude about 18".Two of the shelters have external stairs that can be unbolted. The other two shelters have internal stairs. All four shelters have a meteorological tower that telescopes and can be unbolted from the shelters. Question: There?s no picture of the monitoring shelter as stated. Can you email pictures to the interested bidders? Answer: There is a picture attached separately for review. Question: Do you have a specific manufacturer that can be contacted for specifications and rigging information? Answer: The shelters are standard 20' L x 8' W x 8' H steel shipping containers converted for use as ambient air monitoring stations.
