Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake CA intendsto procure a Time and Materials, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite QuantityContract for Contractor Engineering Technical Services (CETS) in support ofThe Naval Air Systems Command, Naval Air Technical Data and Engineering ServiceCommand (NATEC), San Diego, California. NATEC requires ContractorEngineering Technical Services (CETS) support for various AircraftAirframes, associated systems, and supporting equipment.This acquisition is for Contractor Field Services-Competitive (CFSC) andContractor Maintenance Services-Competitive (CMSC) types of ContractorEngineering Technical Services (CETS) in support of the following aviationprograms: AV-8; C-130; C-2; C-20; C-40; C-9; E-2; EA-6; EA-18; EP-3; EP-X;F-18; F-35; H-1; H-46; H-53; H-60; P-3; P-8; V-22; Support Equipment (SE),(including Common SE and Common Automated Test Equipment (CATE) andassociated Operational Test Program Sets (OTPS)); Non-Platform Specific(NPS) Programs and associated systems and equipment.The Performance Work Statement (PWS) for this acquisition defines the effortrequired for Contractor Engineering Technical Services (CETS) ContractorField Services (CFS) to include on and off-site proficiency training,technical guidance and advice to resolve unusually complex technicalproblems as well as separately tasked Contractor Maintenance Services (CMS). CFS and CMS technical expertise include the following Aviation CoreDisciplines: Airframes (AF), Avionics (AV), Electrical (ELEC), InformationTechnology (IT), Power-plant (PP), Support/Test Equipment (S/TE), andLogistics Support Representatives (LSR). The objective of the CETS support is to develop the technical skills andabilities of Department of Defense (DoD) military and civilian personnelresponsible for the operation and maintenance of the systems and equipmentlisted in the PWS to the level of self-sufficiency. The CETS supportdescribed above is projected to be sustained at various sites both in thecontinental United States (CONUS) and outside CONUS (OCONUS). The projectedperiod of performance for this acquisition is from 01 April 2010 through 31March 2014.
