- Notice to Offerors: Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the opening date. 17th Contracting Squadron, Goodfellow AFB, Texas, intends to issue a solicitation for Installation of a check valve and construction of a concrete vault enclosure for the valve. Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, equipment, tools, materials, supplies, supervision, and any incidentals necessary to perform all work in accordance with the Statement of Work. This Solicitation, will be issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation is being issued as a 100% set aside for Emerging Small Business pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstrative Program IAW FAR 19.1007 (c) (1). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237110 and the small business size standard is $33.5 Million dollars. The Emerging Small Business size standard for this procurement is $16.75 Million. The disclosure of magnitude of the project is between $25,000 and $100,000 IAW FAR 36.204(b). The period of performance shall be 45 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. All responsible Sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The entire solicitation will be made available on the Fedbizops website at http://www.fbo.gov/ on or about 16 February 2010. The site visit will be held on or about 23 February 2010, all offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. The Quote due date will be on or about 2 March 2010. The exact date and time of the site visit and quote due date will be stated in the solicitation package. The government contemplates award of a Firm Fixed Price purchase order to the responsible offeror whose quote conforms to the requirements of the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government. Paper copies will not be available. Email and fax requests will be honored. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. An Offeror shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database as prescribed in FAR 52.204-7, and DFARS 252.204-7004 in order to receive award. CCR information can be obtained at CCR website at http:// ww.ccr.gov or calling 1-888-227-2423. Offerors must have also completed the on-line Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at http://www.orca.bpn.gov. Award of the proposed contract cannot be made to the prospective offeror without proper registration.
