Description
RECOVERY - 2.4GHz Ethernet Bridge Radios The Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Cascades Volcano Observatory has a requirement for fifty three (53) 2.4 GHz Ethernet Bridge radios for delivery to Vancouver, Washington. The minimum required salient characteristics will likely be as follows: Radio Physical Specifications:-Dual N style connectors for use with two antennas to act as repeater if needed-Rugged aluminum environmental enclosure suitable for outdoor use-Gasket sealed cover-Environmentally sealed Ethernet data connector-Environmentally sealed power connector, may be same as data connector-8 to 28 Volt DC operating voltage with no more than 5 watt power consumption Radio Transmission Specifications:-Capable of point-to-point or point-to-multipoint communication-Range of at least 50 miles-Spread spectrum 2.4 GHz operating frequency-Variable transmission power up to 23 dbm Radio Data Specifications:-Remote management interface for configuration across radio link Onboard spectral analysis and timing analysis tools to optimize installation-Up to 2.75 Mbps data rate 10/100 Mb Ethernet data interface The Government anticipates award of a commercial, firm-fixed price contract with a scheduled delivery to Vancouver, WA within 45 days after award of the contract. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement may be available on the internet on or about 12 Feb 2010. A formal solicitation is not available for release at this time. This requirement is restricted as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334220 and the size standard is 750 employees. There is no incumbent contractor. Full funding for requirements to be completed by resultant contract award(s) may utilize funds provided by the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Inclusion of unique provisions required to implement the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements by the successful offeror(s), will be required in any resultant contract.
