Description
RECOVERY – NO REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS WILL BE ISSUED TO THE PUBLIC. TELEPHONE CALLS OR E-MAILS CONCERNING THIS PROJECT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED NOR RETURNED BY THE CONTRACTING OFFICER. THIS REQUIREMENT WILL BE AWARDED BY ISSUANCE OF A DELIVERY ORDER UNDER AN EXISTING INDEFINITE DELIVERY/INDEFINITE QUANTITY (ID/IQ) CONTRACT TO CENTENNIAL CONTRACTORS ENTERPRISES, INC. CONTRACT NO. HHSI161200900003I. THIS COMBINED SOLICITATION NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND IS REQUIRED BECAUSE FUNDING PROVIDED UNDER THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 WILL BE USED FOR THIS EFFORT. AGAIN, NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL BE ISSUED TO THE PUBLIC. The Contractor shall provide and install a solar aerator in K-21 Lagoon Cell #1 at the Kickapoo Tribe on the Kansas Reservation, Horton, Kansas. This project will provide a solar powered lagoon aerator at the Kickapoo Tribe in Kansas main community lagoon system in order to increase the level of dissolved oxygen in the lagoon. Increasing the dissolved oxygen level will provide for more effective treatment or the wastewater and prevent unpleasant odor associated with low levels of dissolved oxygen. The aerator will be solar powered to decrease operating costs. The aerator will be installed and provided to the Tribe on a turnkey basis. The objective of the project will be to provide a more effective wastewater treatment for the Kickapoo Tribe in Kansas K-20 cell #1 lagoon. This requirement is for a proposal leading to the issuance of a delivery order under a competitively awarded Job Order Contract )JOC) for the Oklahoma City Indian Health Service rea Office (IHS). This requirement was previously published as an informational Pre-solicitation Notice on February 1, 2010.
