- NOT a request for SF330's or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government may or may not issue solicitation documents. The John D. Dingell Medical Center, Detroit, MI is conducting a market survey for qualified small businesses (including Service Disabled Veteran Owned, 8a, and/or Hub Zone) capable of providing the required construction services outlined below for the John D. Dingell VAMC Applicable NAICS code is 236220 size standard $33.5 million. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing (email or fax is acceptable) and received no later than February 8, 2010. No telephone inquires will be accepted. All responses to this notice must identify the social economic category of the respondent, name and address of company, name and phone number of contact person, and the company's DUNS number. Description of work to be performed includes: Contractor shall furnish labor and materials and perform work for the Correct Storage Deficiencies Project, 553-10-107, as required by drawings and specifications. Furnish all necessary labor, tools, miscellaneous materials, equipment, and supervision as specified to complete the Project 553-10-107, "Correct Storage Deficiencies," at the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, Detroit, Michigan. The project consists of all Architectural, Plumbing, Mechanical, and Electrical work to construct eight new storage rooms, by converting the eight existing hydrotherapy rooms and eight existing bathrooms into eight rated storage rooms (A2033, A3033, A3136, A4033, A4136, A5136, A6033, and A6136). Accomplish this work during a 160 day period during normal work hours (8:00 am - 4:30 pm). Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing (email or fax is acceptable) and received no later than February 8, 2010. No telephone inquires will be accepted. All responses to this notice must identify the social economic category (Service Disabled Veteran Owned, 8a, and/or Hub Zone) of the respondent, name and address of company, name and phone number of contact person, and the company's DUNS number. The Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this sources sought announcement.
