Description
**A MANDATORY SITE VISIT IS SCHEDULED FOR THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 4, 2010 @ 9:00 AM (EST) TO ATTEND THIS SITE VISIT YOU MUST RSVP TO BEVERLY DAWSON ( BEVERLY.DAWSON.CTR@LANGLEY.AF.MIL ) NOT LATER THAN 2:00 PM (EST) FEBRUARY 3, 2010. PLEASE INCLUDE THE FULL NAMES OF THOSE THAT WILL BE ATTENDING. ALSO INDICATE IF A VEHICLE PASS WILL BE REQUIRED FOR ENTRANCE TO THE BASE. YOU WILL NEED VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE/REGISTRATION AND PROOF OF INSURANCE. WE WILL MEET AT THE CONTRACTING SQUADRON, 74 NEALY AVENUE, LANGLEY AFB. TRANSPORTATION TO THE VARIOUS SITES WILL BE PROVIDED BY THE GOVERNMENT. *WD 05-2543 (Rev 10) 5/26/2009 PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT TO REPAIR LANGLEY AFB LIFT STATIONS Scope of Work: The contractor shall provide non-personal services to furnish all labor, tools, equipment, transportation, materials, testing and supervision to repair or replace damaged components to all designated lift stations. 1. Removal: The contractor shall remove and dispose of storm damaged equipment in the lift stations identified by the Government. 1.1 Cleaning: The contractor shall clean the wet wells prior to installation of new equipment. 2. Replacement: The contractor shall provide all necessary equipment to: 2.1. Fabricate: The contractor shall fabricate stands to raise electrical panels as indicated. 2.2. Install: The contractor shall install new pumps, electrical panels, bubblers, testing and any other equipment necessary to return lift stations to full operating order. Lift Station 330 • Clean Wet Well • Remove existing pumps and dispose • Provide and install new pumps • Remove existing electrical panel • Fabricate stand to raise electrical panel approximately 25 inches • Provide and install new electrical panel • Start-up and test system Lift Station 885 • Remove existing bubbler system and electrical panel • Fabricate stand to raise electrical panel approximately 25 inches • Provide and install new electrical panel and stainless steel floats • Start-up and test system Lift Station 886 • Remove existing bubbler system and electrical panel • Fabricate stand to raise electrical panel approximately 25 inches • Provide and install new electrical panel and stainless steel floats • Start-up and test system Lift Station 744 • Clean lift station • Remove existing pumps • Install new pumps • Start-up and test system Lift Station 328 South • Clean Lift Station • Remove existing pumps • Remove existing electrical panel • Remove existing valves and piping • Provide and install new pumps • Provide and install new valves and piping • Install new government provided electrical panel • Start-up and test system Lift Station 1022 • Remove existing junction box • Fabricate stand to raise junction box approximately 30 inches • Install new stand and junction box • Pull new wire from panel to station • Start-up and test Station 757 Oil Water Separator • Remove existing pump and piping • Provide and install new above ground water oil separator • Provide and install new pump • Provide and install freeze protection for equipment • Provide and install piping from new separator to existing tank • Start-up and test system Family Camp Lift Station • Provide and install a new complete lift station including tank, top, piping, fittings, rails, and lift chains • Provide and install new valve vault • Provide and install new PVC valves in valve vault • Provide and install new electrical panel • Tie piping from existing lift station into new lift station • Clean out old lift station • Remove old equipment from old lift station and dispose • Remove old electrical panel from old lift station • Fill in old lift station and abandon in place. • Start-up and test new station 3. Inspection: The contractor shall test all equipment for but not limited to leaks, freeze protection and flow. The contractor shall provide system specifications and written test results to the government representative prior to inspection. All work will be inspected by 1 CES prior to acceptance. 4. Warranty: Standard warranty is for this type of work is one year parts and labor. * PERFORMANCE PERIOD: 50 WORK DAYS, ARO (AFTER RECEIPT OF ORDER)
