Description
This sources sought notice is intended for market research purposes, and is not a solicitation. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of response to this sources sought announcement. It is the Governments intent to solicit and award contracts for near-term and potentially indefinite delivery contracts for the future. A request for responsible sources who can provide the following supplies and perform the following services is hereby requested throughout the country of Latvia (government installations and other facilities): (1) rental vehicles services (passenger van, sport utility vehicle and sedan) NAICS 532111 (2) material handling equipment services (crane) NAICS 532490 (3) lodging (hotel or motel) NAICS 561599 and 721110 (4) supplies such as cellular phone sim cards and recharging units, and (5)office space, and office equipment rental or leased) NAICS 531120 and 532420. The Contractor may be required to survey the work performance areas, evaluate and recommend solutions, develop and implement work plans in a timely manner within negotiated costs. Contracts or task orders may be awarded for work to be performed through-out the country of Latvia. Contract or task order awards will be firm fixed-price. Single or Multiple contract awards may be made under the anticipated solicitation. Contract award(s) are anticipated in the August to September 2010 timeframe. Prior Government contract experience is not required for submitting a response under this source sought notice or for submitting a proposal under the planned solicitation. However, all performance must comply with the Federal Acquisition Regulation, all Federal, State and local laws, ordinances, codes, and regulations and with applicable host nation requirements. All responsible sources interested in this acquisition are encouraged to register in Central Contract Registration (www.ccr.gov) and with the federal business opportunities website (www.fedbizopps.gov) as an interested vendor. Please check Army Single to Face Industry frequently https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ under contracting opportunities search for future solicitations. You are also encouraged to register on the federal business opportunities website to receive notification with regard to any updates posted to the federal business opportunities website for this acquisition. Interested vendors who meet the capability requirements identified in this notice are requested to respond, in the form of an interest and capability statement, to this sources sought notice. All such responses will be considered by the agency. Only written inquiries and responses will be accepted. We are seeking all interested and capable sources in order to develop a source list for these potential requirements and because the response time for submitting an offer will be a short duration. This sources sought is for supplies and services in support of an expeditionary operation. Responses/capability statements provided as a result of this notice shall include the following information: * Vendors name, address, point of contact, phone number, email address, business size, small business status (if applicable). * Would you be proposing on this project as a sole contractor, prime contractor with subcontractor(s), prime contractor with team member subcontractor(s), or a joint venture? Identify, to the extent possible, your team members * Identify which supply or service you are interested in * State whether you have the capability and interest to perform work. * Identify your interest in one of the following performance options: Option 1) interest in a short-term contract performing work only in specific states (must provide a list of states if interested in this option) or Option 2) interest in an indefinite delivery contract. Vendors are also welcome to advise of their lack of interest in this type of acquisition along with comments explaining the reasons for their disinterest and any recommendations for making this solicitation more appealing. Vendors are encouraged to submit promotional literature in response to this sources sought notice. Submissions shall not exceed 30 pages in length. All responses shall be provided in English by 1300 Central European time on 26 February 2010 to the attention of SSG Stephen Phillippi via email to: stephen.phillippi@eur.army.mil and SFC Charles W.
