- The purpose of this SOURCES SOUGHT is to determine the availability of potential sources to provide the required products and services and to assist the Government in deciding in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 19.502-2(b) whether or not this procurement will be set aside for small business, for a small business program, or done through full and open competition. This is s request for information only and no solicitation currently exists; therefore, DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION as there is no assurance that a solicitation will result. Responses should include the following information: a (1) capability statement with reference made to the SOURCES SOUGHT number SS-1079737, (2) name and address of the organization, (3) the size standard and small business program status of the company, (4) point of contact with name, title, phone, fax, and email, and (5) DUNS number. Respondent will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. All information submitted in response to this announcement must be received on or before the closing date. The closing date for responses is February 3, 2010 at 11:00 am CST. Email capability statements are authorized, but it is up to the vendor to make certain that the email was received. All questions concerning this SOURCES SOUGHT may be emailed to Donna Harwood, donna.harwood@ihs.gov no later than February 3, 2010. Mailed documents can be sent to the address listed in FedBizOpps. Requirement: To provide a switch service that interfaces with the Indian Health Service RPMS (Resource and Patient Management System) computer system. Switching services are required for the Indian Health Service pharmacy to submit pharmaceutical claims electronically from the RPMS computer system to 3rd party drug plans for reimbursement. The related NAICS code is 423430 with a size standard of 100 employees.
