- Description
- The Chequamegon Nicolet National Forest intends to issue a solicitation for hand tree planting at various sites across northern Wisconsin. The project will entail planting close to 1,000,000 seedlings across the Lakewood Laona, Eagle River Florence, Great Divide, Medford Park Falls, and Washburn Ranger Districts. The project is expected to begin as soon as weather conditions allow, typically late April. Completion date is 30 days after issuance of the notice to proceed. The project is estimated less than $100,000. MSPA registration, if applicable, CCR, and ORCA are required. This will be a small business set-aside best value award under simplified acquisition procedures. Note: DOL and ICE will be notified of award and may participate in the prework conference. All solicitation documents will be posted electronically at FBO; hard copies will not be available. The solicitation will be posted on approximately February 5, 2010.
