- The Bureau of Land Management, National Interagency Fire Center has a requirement for 50 ea portable, lightweight, automatic weather monitoring stations. These stations shall be quickly deployed to emergency incidents to monitor standard weather parameters and/or other environmental conditions. Firm, fixed-price offers shall be requested under Request for Quotations (RFQ) No. L10PS01852 using procedures prescribed by FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items in conjunction with FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation package will be posted on or about January 19, 2010, thereafter the full solicitation package may be accessed via link to this synopsis at www.fedbizopps.gov, or directly at http://www.fedconnect.net. Quotes shall be due no later than close of business February 19, 2010. This is a total Small Business set-aside. The NAICS code is 334519, Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing, with a Small Business Size Standard of 500 employees. Prospective offerors must be registered, and must maintain an active registration in the Central Contractor Registration database found at http://www.ccr.gov and Online Representations and Certifications must be completed at http://orca.bpn.gov or a completed copy of FAR 52.212-03 Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items must be submitted with the quote.
