- Pre-Solicitation Synopsis1.Solicitation will be issued on or about: 29 Jan 10 and closes 1 Mar 10 for the acquisition of the Submerged Pump Assembly. This is a SOLE SOURCE REQUIREMENT FOR (ITT AEROSPACE CONTROLS). Submission will be accepted electronically.2.PR Number(s): FD2030-10-26767 3.Overhaul 4.AMC: 3R 5.Submerged Pump Assembly 6.NSN: 2915-01-527-8152RK 7.P/N: 8435-1 8.Description: 11.5"L X8.08"W Submerged Fuel Booster Pump is an Electric Motor-Driven, Self-Priming, Single-Stage Centrifugal flow unit designed to supply vapor-free fuel under pressure to the fuel system. Aluminum. 9.The contract period will be one year with four one-year options. The items and quantities are as follows: 10.Item 0001: Overhaul NSN: 2915-01-527-8152RK, P/N: 8435-1 Noun: Submerged Pump Assembly Applicable to E-3,E-6,E-8 aircraft; Basic Year Best Estimated Quantity, 10 each; Option I Year Best Estimated Quantity, 10 each; Option II Year Best Estimated Quantity, 10 each; Option III Year Best Estimated Quantity, 10 each; Option IV Year Best Estimated Quantity, 10 each.Item 0002: Over and Above Work; Item 0003: Data IAW DD1423s. 11.Applicable to: E-3,E-6,E-8 aircraft 12.Destination: To Be Determined. 13.Required Delivery: Initial Delivery of 3 Ea, 30 Days ARO. All subsequent deliveries will be for 2 Ea, 30 Days ARO. 14.Export Control: N/A 15.If unit price exceeds $5,000.00 then UID requirements will apply 16.POC: R. The Government does not intend to hold discussion but may hold discussion if it is deemed necessary. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
