Description
The Naval Research Laboratory intends to award to Cryogenic Limited, on other than full and open competitive basis a contract for 1 each VTI-24/31.75B Variable Temperature Insert: - 24 mm Sample Space, -1.6 to 300K Operating Temperature Range, 1 each SU 200 Magnet Support assembly with VTI access top plate to suit a 200mm neck cryostat, 1 each 5 V Diode Protection Circuit for 12T Magnet, 1 each VTI-24-B ETP Sample Probe for VTI: - 16 pin DIP Socket, mounted perpendicular to field, - 16 pin Room Temperature Connector, - 20 pin PLCC Socket and Plug, mounted perpendicular to field (included if Space is available) – Bendix style connector: supplied to Cryogenic Limited by customer, - Wiring heater and thermometry, 1 each VTI-24-A ROT Sample Rotation Stage for VTI: - 20 Pin PLCC Socket and Plug, -Bendix style connector: supplied to Cryogenic Limited by customer, - Wiring (20 wires for sample), heater and thermometry, 1 each VTI-24-B-A/V Airlock and Valve for 24 mm VTI, and 1 each USB interface kit for SMS Series Power Supply. (Microsoft IE required). Additional specifications will appear in the RFQ. Sole source is based on equipment being OEM to Cryogenic Limited. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Note: All offerors will be ineligible for award unless they have registered in the DOD(s) Central Contractor Registration database.
