Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Bio-Tek Instruments, Inc., 100 Tigan Street, Highland Park, Winooski, VT 05404 for annual maintenance of Bio-Tek equipment. The equipment being covered is as follows: ELx405 (5), ELx405/AF1000 (6), Precision (3), and BioStack (4). Each unit will be covered for one year starting from award date of purchase order. Maintenance provided includes one preventive maintenance visit a year. A loaner unit is provided at no charge if equipment must be removed from premises for repair. Payment for maintenance is quarterly in arrears as proscribed by HHS regulations. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 6.302-2. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. This procurement is not set-aside for small business. For contractual questions contact Linda M.
