Description
The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Contracting Department, Norfolk, VA 23511 intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed-Price contract for 380 each Crotch boots, 570 each Male Cam Locks, 570 each Female Cam Locks, Male Sleeves (190 each White, 190 each Black, 190 each Red), and Female Sleeves (190 each White, 190 each Black, 190 each Red) on an unrestricted requirement for use with enhanced THOF-500 shore power cables which are in accordance with the specifications Operational Naval Instruction OPNAVINST 11310.3B, to be delivered to Naval Facilities Mid-Atlantic, Norfolk VA 23511. The miscellaneous electrical components will be acquired in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13.5 - Test Programs for Certain Commercial Items. The required delivery is 5 February 2010. The North American Industry Classification System code for this acquisition is 335999. A request for a complete proposal package will be available for download on or about 19 January 2010 at the following websites: http://www.neco.navy.mil, www.fbo.gov or www.fedbizopps.gov. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above cites. This office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for award to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-999-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. The NECO website has a 'submit bid' button next to the solicitation number. DO NOT use the 'submit bid' button on NECO to submit your proposal.
