Description

The VA Heartland Network 15 has a requirement for Medical Transportation Services (Taxi, Wheelchair Van and Litter) for the VA Medical Center, 4801 Linwood Blvd., Kansas City, MO. The NAICS code is 485991 with a size standard of $7.0 Million. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for award to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. Services require contractor to furnish all the labor, equipment, and vehicles necessary to provide transportation services to beneficiaries of the VA Medical Center, 24 hours/day, 7 days/week, 365 days/yr (including holidays) in accordance with the solicitation terms and conditions. Contract shall be for a period of one (1) year with option to renew two (2) additional one year periods. Offers from other than service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns will not be considered and shall be rejected. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Proposals will be evaluated on Technical Factors, Past Performance and Price in accordance with the evaluation criteria identified in the solicitation. Request for Proposal will be available on or about January 14, 2010. Due date for receipt of offers is February 12, 2010, 4:00 p.m. CST. Anticipated award date is April 15, 2010.
