Description
Solicitation including SOW Industrial Fire Plan Fire Plan Wage Determination Drawings THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA) PROCUREMENT. The U.S. Forest Service, EROC-NW servicing Region 6 has a requirement to replace a culvert with a larger open bottom pipe arch (18 feet span, 9 feet rise, 95 feet long) in accordance with plans and specifications. Work includes traffic control, testing of soil erosion, pollution control; clearing and grubbing, removal of existing culver, excavation and haul of existing fill material; placement and compaction of structural backfill, constructing a stream simulation rock stream channel, placing riprap, placing, shaping an compacting aggregate surfacing; seeding and mulching. Work includes furnishing all materials, excavation, backfill and disposal of excess materials. The contractor shall provide all management and project administration services, quality control, logistical support, equipment, materials and supplies required to complete the project on time and within schedule in compliance with drawings and specifications. The contractor shall also provide as necessary, flagmen and traffic controls to protect the project and public. Award will be made in sufficient time for planning and preparation to complete work by either August 3, 2010 or September 3, 2010 as directed by the Contracting Officer. A negotiated, firm fixed price contract is comtemplated requiring a submission of both a technical and a price proposal. Award will be made to the offeror whose proposal offers the best value to the Government. The estimated construction range of magnitude for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The solicitation is expected to be released on or around January 7 2010. Bids are Due Feb 10, 2010 NLT 1600 HRS PST This is a full and open competition
