- NSN: 6105-01-240-9689 TP. OEM Code: 05624. PN: DYLM43700-4. Description: Direct Current (DC) Motor; used to operate valve actuator to open and close valve. Dimensions are approximately 2.910 inches long by 1.410 inches high by 2.375 inches wide. Weight is approximately.45 pounds. Material is steel case with copper wire inside. Quantity: Total 3 Year Best Estimated Quantity of 29 each, initial year order of 21 each, year 2 order of 4 each and year 3 order of 4 each. Total 3 Year Contract Maximum Quantity of 44 each. Destination: FB2039, Tinker AFB OK and Foreign Military Sales DKS005. Delivery Schedule: First delivery of 14 each on or before 30 JUL 2010 to Tinker AFB OK and 7 each on or before 29 OCT 2010 to Foreign Military Sales DKS005. This is a sole source requirement to GE Aviation Systems LLC (Cage Code 05624). The Government does not possess the necessary data for competitive purchases. The data needed to procure this part competitively is not physically available, cannot be obtained economically, nor is it possible to draft adequate specifications or any other adequate, economical description of the material for a competitive solicitation. Currently, GE (Cage Code 05624) is the only known approved source for this item. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the Government. Export Control does not apply to this acquisition. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Free Trade Agreements. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. Interested parties are invited to call the Ombudsman at (405) 734-8253. DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER FOR SOLICITATION REQUESTS. Based upon market research, the Government is not using policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested parties may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. Request for Written Quotation/Proposal will be issued. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestors are acceptable. The anticipated award date will be 60 to 90 days after the issuance of this notice.
