- This Solicitation was posted on Red River Army Depot web site January 04 2010. Red River Army Depot (RRAD) issued a solicitation that will result in one award for Emergency Response-Blood Borne Pathogens, for Red River Army Depot only. Clean Up and dispose of Hazardous Waste Services for a Base and Four (4) Option years. Renewal periods are 12 months. Contractor shall provide all service, protective equipment (PPE) for workers, tools, material, supplies, labor, transportation and supervision, except as otherwise stated, for the accomplishment for clean up spills and removal and properly disposed from RRAD, Texarkana, TX, in strict accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). Services are FOB destination. Quantities listed for the Bloodborne Pathogen Response, 80 Hours per year are estimated. This contract will require the contractor to supply at a minimum two (2) workers, each properly trained on Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP) and (Biological Hazardous Waste) clean-up, to respond to Red River Army Depot in the event of a Biological Hazardous Material spill. Work hours will be on a call out basis only in the event of an emergency. Contractor shall be paid at a minimum for two (2) hours for each call out. This contract will be for a twenty four (24) hour call out in the event of a Biological Hazardous Material spill should occur here at Red River Army Depot. Anyone responding under this contract will have a minimum of one (1) year experience in the field, Biological Hazardous Material clean-up and have all required training up to date and provide proof of certificate verifying they meet State and Federal laws/regulations governing clean up of Bloodborne Pathogens prior to any work being conducted. In addition, this contract will require the contractor to dispose of any waste that may be generated as a result of the clean up. The solicitation will issue on or about 04 January 2009 and will close January 19 2009. Bids will be accepted after the solicitation is released.
