- The Boise VA Medical Center Plans to post a blanket purchase agreement (BPA) solicitation on or about 8 Jan 2010 for one on-call chaplain services. This will be for a 5 year agreement and does not gurantee any minimum hours of service calls. Chaplain to provide services to veteran patients during off hours and when the lead chaplain is off station or unavailable for any reason. This service will be at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 500 West Fort Street, Boise, Idaho. On occasion, contrator may be requested to visit a VA patient in their home. Contractor will have access to VA computer networks and will have the ability to look up patient information to help perform assessments of said patient on an as needed basis. Contractor will also be required to enter information in these systems. As a result, security, security trainning and Federal background checks will be initiated on the individual awarded this BPA.
