- Description
- The USDA Forest Service Region 6 anticipates soliciting for Call When Needed (CWN) Light Fixed Wing Aircraft services. Vendors shall be required to fully operate the aircraft, supply qualified personnel, and equip the aircraft to meet specifications for use in administration and protection of Public Lands. The aircraft furnished may be used for incident support, fire support, project, law enforcement, and administrative flights. Multiple awards are anticipated and the performance period for the awarded agreements will consist of 1 base year plus 2 renewable options. The solicitation will be posted to this site on or around January 12, 2010 with quotes due 30 days later. Awards are expected to be made in March 2010 with potential performance commencing in April 2010.
