- RECOVERY ACT PROJECT: THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES. The Viera Outpatient Clinic, Viera, Florida is soliciting bids from qualified SDVOSB's for project 675-09-602, to "Operating Room Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning". Work includes all labor, tools, materials, equipment, general construction, alterations, electrical work, and necessary removal of existing structures and construction of certain other items as required to perform design and build work to upgrade the existing HVAC units in the surgical area of the facility. The work shall include design and construct upgrades as necessary to the HVAC system in the surgical suite. The NAICS code is 238220/size standard is $14 million. Cost range is $100,000-$250,000. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions of the solicitation, Subject to the Availability of Funds. THIS SOLICITATION IS A TOTAL SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. BIDS WILL ONLY BE CONSIDERED FROM SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES in accordance with Public Law 109-461. The solicitation will issue on or about 1/26/10. A MANDATORY ONE-TIME organized site visit will be held: 2/3/10 at 10:00am. LOCATION: Engineering Conference, Viera Outpatient Clinic (OPC), 2900 Veterans Way, Viera, FL 32940-8007. All bid packages must be accessed on line at the Federal Business Opportunities website. No hard copies of this solicitation will be sent out. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Complete electronic solicitation with forms and specifications for submitting a bid and to register your name on the bidders mailing list can be obtained at the following website: http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
